What to expect for a sclerotherapy treatment

Are you living with spider veins that cause you to hide your legs with long pants?
If so, you're not alone. One way to reduce these visible blue and red-colored veins is through a laser procedure called sclerotherapy.
This procedure is minimally invasive and takes less than one hour. The treatment uses a very thin needle to inject a solution called sotradecol directly into your afflicted vein, causing it to scar and fade.
Within three to six weeks, the spider veins should be nearly unnoticeable. Though a bruise or rash may occur, there are relatively few risks related to this laser treatment.
