The process works like this: Laser beams carefully target the tattooed area, destroying the ink which is embedded in the skin cells. The body then naturally discards of the damaged cells, removing the appearance of the tattoo. The number of treatments needed for the procedure to be a success will vary between individuals, contingent on the size of their tattoo.
